Call 304-816-4614 if you suspect spinal stenosis.
Spinal stenosis involves the spinal canal becoming narrower due to age or a trauma. In truth, people can go for years without experiencing issues like back pain or leg discomfort although they have spinal stenosis. Plus, a number of factors can contribute to the condition like abscesses, thickening ligaments, vertical fractures, dislocations, tumors or infections. At times, something like an accident or fall can trigger pain from spinal stenosis that would otherwise be undetected. Various tests may be used to diagnose the issue, such as blood work, electrodiagnostic studies, physical examinations or imaging tests. If you discover that you have spinal stenosis chiropractic care may provide relief.
For spinal stenosis care, call 304-816-4614.
The reason for your spinal stenosis often dictates the type of treatments best for you. While self-care techniques and exercises may help there are times surgery may be required. Before going to that extreme though, it's best to consult a chiropractor because with manipulation you may be able to reduce the symptoms so your quality of life is improved. If you find yourself experiencing back pain from prolonged standing or walking, muscle weakness or spasms or hot / cold feelings in your legs, these may be helped with chiropractic care. If this sounds like you, let me help. I'm Dr. Roger Kritzer at Marion Chiropractic Center and all it takes is a quick phone call or e-mail to get started.
